Knowingness (TW for emetophobia):

Max was sitting quietly in a field, against a tree. He was scrolling through his phone a little. Eventually he stopped, putting it away in his bag. He started feeling a bit off, and began to cry. As he did so, he occasionally broke into fits of hysterical laughter as he sobbed into the palms of his hands. By the end of this little fit, the boy started to hack up little blood-covered buttercups and marigolds. Max wiped some of the blood off of his lips with a hand, got up from where he was sitting. He ventured off into the forest nearby.

Knowingness happened to be secretly watching him from a little while away, feeding. He felt bad for what Max was going through, but he couldn't really control it all that much.

Max had been invited over to Harmonia's house, and so he used some of his remaining energy to teleport over there. He rematerialized in the living room, and looked around. Harmonia and Spider were there, chattering about something.

"Hey, uh- Howdy!" He managed, starting to get a little light-headed.

"Max!" Harmonia exclaimed, going to greet him.

"Hi!"

Max had to pause, getting itchy from teleportation again. He leaned down and began rapidly scratching his ankle, to the point that it was almost bleeding. Somehow he didn't notice it.

The moth woman looked at him like a concerned mother, reaching over to gently take and hold his wrist to stop him. He peered up at her, awkwardly.

"Hey- you're all grimy! Come on, lets get you all cleaned up."

Max reluctantly agreed, following her to the bathroom. Harmonia got a towel out of a cabinet, and got it all soaked in warm water. She first went to clean the upper parts of his hands and wrists, and then started scrubbing at the dirt and blood off of his face.

Maxwell's face scrunched up, as he found the feeling strange. It was certainly better than being in a whole tub of water though.

"Alll done- Although... Actually I'm going to get you another towel or two,  so you can clean uhm, everything else." She said, politely.

"I'll also get you some clean clothes. I think I have some that will fit."

She went through the cabinet to get him another towel or two, before exiting the room. Harm came back a few minutes later with a change of clothes. Max thanked her, closed the door, and immediately leaned over and opened the lid of the toilet. He coughed heavily once or twice before a large quantity of blood and yellow flowers poured out of his mouth.

Unfortunately he was used to this, so he got up without thinking much more about it, and flushed the impurities down the drain. He cleaned up a little further with one of the towels before remembering he had a change of clothes. Feeling a little weak, he leaned against the sink as he went to change. He sure would be sad to get rid of his Doja Cat t-shirt, but hey, he needed new stuff.

"How's it goin'?" He asked, starting to sweat and look quite damp, soggy even.

Harmonia raised an eyebrow at him, suspecting something was off.

"Are you hungry or anything? I'm gonna make some chicken pot pie if thats good."

"Yeah I think I like chicken pot pie? I also like mexican pizza from Taco Bell. But then again I haven't actually eaten a meal since March 8th so I dunno-" He trailed off.

"DEAR God-" Harmonia exclaimed, in a tone likely comparible to that one TF2 meme.

As Harmonia went to grab some of the ingredients, Max started to slump over awkwardly. His eyes were kind of dim looking. When she turned back around, she crossed her arms.

"What's going on? Are you ok??" Harm asked.

"Oh, nothing, I'm good!" He quickly forced himself to sit up straight, however it was apparent he was lying.

Spider, who was sitting near him just stared, in their typical grumpy manner. Harm reached for her phone, and went to contact Knowingness on discord.

-

Harmonia: Hey, do you know what's up with Max?

Knowingness: He may or may not have been fast enough when fleeing from argon fauna.

Harmonia: Okay.

-

As soon as the moth woman put her phone back in her pocket, she made her way around the counter, towards Max.

"Okay I know you're injured. What happened?"

"No- I'm fine really!" He stood up, then almost fell over as blood rushed to his side.

Spider frowned as they saw this.

"Well if you want to die from infection or whatever thats fine." They said, sarcastically.

"Ugh what is it with Knowingness telling everyone about my problems!?" Max complained, eventually giving up.

"Show me the wound." Harmonia insisted.

He tentatively lifted up his shirt to show a rather nasty looking gash across his abdomen. It was very poorly stitched, red, and swolen.

"Geez, where's Cole?!" She called over to Spider, frantically.

"If you want I can try to fix it myself." Spider suggested, getting up from their chair.

"Sure whatever works!"

Harmonia motioned for Max to lay down on the living room couch. Max complied, although he was hesitant. She then went to go grab a rag or something. Spider however just stared at Max's injury, frowning.

"Okay bite down on this." Harm gave the guy a small towel.

Max took the rag, rolled it up, and put it in his mouth.

Spider leaned over him, extending a hand. A strange green light became visible after a few moments. The wound seemed to slowly but surely close up. The process felt strange and quite cold.

"Mmphhhh." Max complained.

Once the process was complete, Spider fell back in their chair again, exhausted. Apparently that took a lot of energy.

Max took the rag out of his mouth so he could speak.

"Wow, thanks!" He chirped.

"Mhm." They replied.

"Spi, do you need anything?" Harm asked.

"Just a bottle o' booze and a nap."

"I'm not sure thats a great idea."

"Like you ain't just as bad as I am." Spider joked.

Jesse 1:

Jesse was sitting around in a seat on the park's swing set, pondering the events from earlier that night, or so he assumed. He thought it was so strange how Max seemed to be completely unaffected by the tall thing. He eventually got up and went home after he got tired of thinking.

Later that night, he was fast asleep in the living room. Max had managed to get into the house again somehow. The boy strolled up behind the couch, staring down at Jesse for a few minutes. Max then smacked Jesse across the face. Jesse jolted up, confused.

"Wake up stoney-baloney!"

"What are you doing here-?"

"In a moment you'll probably think this was a dream-"

Max then slapped him again, teleporting them both to Harmonia's house in a flash of yellow. They rematerialized in the living room, where a few other people were chilling out. Max gave a cough to clear his throat, and then announced to the group:

"Okay guys- I'm here, and this is Jesse. Jesse is dumb. Take that with a grain of salt."

Luna, a nonferal cat woman, who was wearing a spiked collar and an anime hoodie, waved briefly, and then left the room. Chris, an ordinary looking guy with glasses and dark hair, was sitting on the couch, trying to do some math with a calculator. Cole, a taller man with white hair, hazel eyes, and a cobalt blue shirt was there beside Chris, but he was completely zoned out and bouncing his leg like crazy.

Max looked over at Jesse, who was sat on the floor, completely boggled.  "Go on, be social." He nudged him in the back with his foot.

"Hey guys-"

Jesse managed. Harmonia saw them from the kitchen, and walked in. She had an entire container of oreos with her.

Max pointed at Jesse and said: "This is Jesse"

Harmonia smiled and offered Jesse a handshake. "And I'm Harmonia. Welcome to the house of the gay and mentally deranged."

Jesse returned the handshake, starting to feel a bit more comfortable. "Thanks- And nice to meet you."

Harmonia extended the oreo package to the boys, grinning. She failed to hide her razor-sharp teeth in the process. Max took one, and so did Jesse.

"Fanks" Jesse said, goofily, as he stuck the entire oreo in his mouth.

"Hey do you guys still use money in your veil..?" Harmonia absent-mindedly reached into her pocket, retrieving approximately $60. She then proceeded to hand the boys $30 dollars each. "We don't need it anymore, and Cole just snaps us items from Walmart."

"Oh wow thanks!! I could probably buy a whole cart with this-" Jesse exclaimed.

Max thanked Harmonia more quietly, grinning. He looked over at Jesse, kind of giving him a nod of interest in that whole idea. Jesse seemed to get the notion and his expression got even brighter.

"Even though you're a murderer now I'm so glad we can still pool money for weed!" Jesse chirped, stupidly.

"Me too dawg. Me too." Max smiled goofily, setting a hand against his chest.

Suddenly, Lock, a nonferal red panda kid popped into the room.

"Did someone say weed? I think I tried to smoke that once and it messed up the grill-"

After saying this she immediately left.

Cole then randomly snapped out of his zoned out state.

"Guys, I'm feeling murderous right now-"

"Cole- We have guests here-" Harm notified him.

"Oh." Cole replied.

"Wait a minute are you the guy who told me to told me to shoot my go-pro out of a canon?!" Jesse exclaimed, quickly looking at Cole.

Cole nodded, smirking mischeviously.

Jesse gasped, pointing at Harmonia excitedly.

"And you're THAT Harmonia!"

"Yeah, I'm the one that told you to eat it!" She laughed.

"Follow @DamnedGlutton on Twitter dot com."

Shameless self promo. Little did Harm know that account would soon be banned a day after for using some choice words for someone. Jesse reached around in his pocket, finding a pen and just writing it on his arm. Meanwhile, Max was on his laptop, already logged into Jesse's account and following her account for him. Cheeky little hacker.

"Hey, you guys want to hear a few war stories?" Harm asked.

Jesse nodded.

"Okay sure but make it quick, I want to have Jesse back on his couch soon." Max agreed tentatively.

Harmonia proceeds to flex their group's achievement of killing one of the heads of the gluttony realm, who had kidnapped her a while ago (+She got marinated in orange juice L). Cole corrected her about a form of weaponry in the story, rolling his eyes. Harmonia berated him for this.

Jesse then clapped excitedly after they finished the story.

"Well then, we best be going!" Max grabbed Jesse by his hoodie and scruffed him in a way. Jesse looked up at him, kinda suprised. He wiggled and kicked his feet a bit, trying to get free.

"Toodles!" Max exclaimed, teleporting the both of them back to Jesse's living room.

When they rematerialized, Jesse looked around, and went to open his mouth to ask some questions. Max saw this, and slapped him right across the jaw, knocking him out immediately. He caught Jesse as he started to collapse, and carefully laid him down across the couch.

"Sleep tight, loser."

Heart of Argon:

Beginning script summary: Harmonia stumbles along the Argon Valley, catches a glimps of the elixr of life, and runs into a deer raptor thing. The weather is also notably bad (This is where it was mentioned that Max would say it was bad weather bc hes anemic). Using trickery, she kills the beast, and sees some sort of door (Presumably created by Knowingness) and runs through. She ends up in a field in Veil 6 with Max chilling out nearby. Harmonia is shocked that the sky is normal. Max and Harmonia have a chat about the elixr of life, and how it would likely make whoever drank it strong enough to rival Abbadon (Who was destroying Veil 1 and trying to cause the rapture in other veils). Harmonia regrets not taking it and Max regrets talking about it. He then asks:

"Wanna go to Jesse's place, and take some candid shots or somethin?"

Harmonia agrees, and so they teleport there. Harmonia is there to the side, covered in the one creature's blood still.

As soon as Max rematerialized, he got a joint out of his pocket and started sorting through the pockets of some jeans Jesse left on his floor, looking for a lighter. He soon found what he was looking for, and lit up his joint. Maxwell then made his way over to the side of Jesse's bed, crouching down to watch him.

Harmonia looked at the boy as he took a hit of the joint, a little perplexed. "Max, I think you may need a little therapy. Watching your crush while he sleeps isn't really healthy."

"My mom made me go to therapy a while ago. It didn't do much so I quit." Max said quietly, his expression turning to slight irritation before returning to normal.

"And I wouldn't say hes my crush... Just a really special homie. Whether he knows it or not."

He paused.

"I just think of it as a form of protection."

Harmonia raised one of her eyebrows at him. Max started pondering after the last thing.

"Or do I have a crush on Jesse..? I dunno-." Max tried to change the topic, offering her a hit. "Smokey tokey?"

"Sure!" She chirped.

Lockbox (Possible TW for gore mention):

Max was sitting around on Harmonia's living room floor. The house was pretty much empty again that evening. He had the lockbox with him, and he was staring at it curiously. The boy had taken it from where he had hidden it a while ago.

What was in it? He couldn't remember no matter how hard he tried. He wondered if he could open it.. Max lifted the box up to his ear and shook it carefully. He then shook it more agressively in frustration.

And thats when Harmonia popped in.

"Hey do you need help opening that? I mean I could try. I think I'm pretty strong."

She grinned, flexing one of her arms.

"No, no. I'm good. That's Jesse's job I think." Maxwell replied.

"So, other than that, what's going on with you?" Harm asked.

"It's really just a whole lot of waiting, since Jesse takes forever to get stuff done. In the meantime, I'm figuring out my next assignment. Knowingness said I'm supposed to do something to get him moving for once.."

He looked kinda distant for a minute.

Max had heard a sound in the box like a voice in response to him mentioning Jesse. He knew he was not all there mentally, but not that far gone.. He held it up to his ear again.

"Sorry to interrupt, do you want anything to drink? I got sodas." Harm asked, after a little break in his talking.

"Sure!" He replied, seeming appreciative.

Harmonia briefly left the room, then returning with a can or two. She reached down to give him a can of Mug rootbeer.

It was a good choice, as it happened to be Max's favorite. His father used to buy cases of it for him all of the time, of course until he found out it was all he was drinking. Not very healthy.

"Thanks!"

He took a sip.

"I havent had one of these in a while. Sure missed the hell outta that."

Harmonia's face displayed a small smile, before asking; "So what are you planning on doing for whatever you were doing now?"

"Wellll one option is.. I could remove his eyes! I did that to a guy once as a revenge thing and it really seemed to fuck him up."

He pondered that, before shaking his head. "I don't think that'd work with my over-all goal though."

"Another option is killing either his sister, his dad, or maybe his mom? I dunno."

Harmonia couldn't help but feel a little bad for whoever this Jesse person was. He seemed like just some normal guy.

"I don't think I have any input. Plus, I really can't judge you with some of the people that reside here, and the company I keep."

She said, not sure what else to say.

"That's fine."

Max took a small notebook out of his pocket, along with a pencil, and continued to plot.

Jesse 2:

Beginning script summary: (The night before Entry 21) Jesse is out and about. He stumbles about the woods and trips over a log. He is about to do something not very good, taking his M1911 out of his backpack, but then he just decides to mag dump in the middle of the field because thats a great idea. When he returns home, he finds that Lucile broke into his house. She then hit him with ultimate aura of more despair, and gave him a Church of the Raindrops pamphlet. After she left he went upstairs.

Max appeared in Jesse's room, setting his backpack down. It had been a while since he'd been there last, and he found the new decorations nice.

He knelt down at the side of Jesse's bed, pulling a sock filled with rock-hard stale peanuts out of his pocket. He then leaned in really close to Jesse, whispering in his ear: "Padlocks won't do shit."

Jesse only processed noise at first, stirring. Max then began whacking him senseless with the sock filled with peanuts. Jesse yelped and screamed in response. He weakly flailed, trying to get to his camera.

Max stopped, grabbed his bag, and did a little taunt of sorts before vanishing.

Jesse swung his camera around desperately, before putting it down defeatedly.

"MAX- Get your ass back here!" Jesse shouted, taking the M1911 out from under his pillow. Of course Max never returned, so he sat awake with his gun for the rest of the night.

Max (Evening of E 21):

There was a bright flash of yellow visible through the window near the porch of Harmonia's house. Max stumbled through the door moments after. His head was on a constant swivel, looking at anything, and everything in the room.

Harmonia was sprawled across her living room couch, watching Figglehorn Reviews on her phone. Max noticed this, sauntering over.

"Figglehorn Reviews? What's the overall vibe of it?"

"The vibes are unsettling but I wouldn't expect anything else-"

She looked up at him, trying to figure out what was going on. Max was stimming by spinning his lip ring with his finger a bit. Some sort of stuff seemed to flake off of it. He still happened to be drenched in Kate's blood.

"Dude, you really need to take a bath." She stated, firmly.

"Nah, I'm fine. I plan on going on a 45 minute trip through the Argon Swamplands later." Max argued, removing his blood-caked glasses from his face. He first licked the lenses to try to clean them. He then realized that wouldn't work, so he tried to use his shirt to scrape some of the stuff off.

"Oh my god, you are FERAL." Harmonia exclaimed.

"We're going. Come on."

"No! The water of the motherlands will cleanse me of my mortal sin-!" The guy argued, before the moth woman picked him up and started carrying him towards the bathroom. Maxwell started wiggling around like crazy, making animalistic noises as he tried to escape.

As Harmonia went to enter the bathroom, Max latched onto the doorframe, digging his nails in. He was literally vibrating as he tried to hold on. Too bad he had wasted most of his energy earlier that evening.

She successfully dragged him into the room, trying to put him into the bath tub. Max tried desperately to get out, but eventually gave up, and almost hit his head on the side as Harm held him down and turned the showerhead on.

He went totally limp. She scrubbed any visible skin like his face and arms until they were clean.

"All done!"

"Oughhh" Max complained, so cold that he began to look a little blue complexion-wise.

"Alright wet-cat boy, dry off." Harmonia chucked a towel at him.

Awaken:

Beginning script summary:

Harmonia wakes up after some whacky events, and finds Claire and the crew by her side. Orpheus is also there, and she keeps pranking Harm, ending up with them getting in a wrestling match, which Harm ends up winning. After talking for a while, one of them ends up ordering pizza and inviting other people to Claire's place.

(A few days or weeks after Entry 21)

Jesse was getting ready to go on vacation. He had packed his dufflebag, and set his sunglasses atop his head. The atmosphere and air of the room felt strange. Everything was finally over with.

Max suddenly appeared right in front of him, in a flash of yellow. He pulled a small orange pouch out of his pocket, pouring a little powder of sorts in his hand. Without giving Jesse any time to react, he blew it in his face.

Jesse then started coughing a little.

"Are ya feelin' passive?" Max asked.

"Given the fact I don't want to bash you over the head for what you did I'd say I'm pretty fuckin' passive." Jesse responded.

"Great!" Max clapped his hands together briefly before going "Pizza time!"

He grabbed Jesse's hand, teleporting them to Claire's basement in Veil 1.

They soon appeared in the basement in another flash of yellow, still holding hands.

Jesse's head was spinning and his vision was still dark. "Where are we- You can't just leave me in the dark jabroni-"

After it was figured out they'd arrived, they were then greeted by Roxy and Claire's voices, and pointing.

"Gays!"

The girls both said in a playful manner. Harmonia was also there and grinning. Orpheus was somewhere to the side on the floor, sleeping.

Max for some reason got mildy defensive. "No I'm not- We're not-"

"I could only lay with my one and only lord." Max deadpanned.

Harmonia raised an eyebrow at him, glaring directly into his eyes at that comment.

"Okay fine... It doesn't mean I'll admit to anything- Just like I can't admit to what Jesse does because he's "not gay"."

Jesse heard this and immediately turned bright red, elbowing Max in the ribs. "Dawg- You can't talk about that- I said that stuff in confidence of privacy-"

"Whatever." Max rolled his eyes and held up his hands as a sign of surrender. He went to settle down, grabbing a slice of pizza or two.

Jesse sat down on a nearby chair, holding his burning face in his sweaty palms.

Max chucked a slice of pizza at Jesse, and it landed in his lap.

Noticing there were a ton of large wires on the floor, Max decided he wanted to lay down on them and play with his phone. They felt weird, and he was kinda curious about them.

The wires were connected to a bunch of huge computers, which had something to do with the R053 project that Claire was working on. They conversated about this before Jesse became interested in them. He wandered over and stared at them in wonder. He was glued to the screens as one might say.

"I think dumb little stoner likes them. I got him into Serial Experiment Laine when we were younger. Look how he is now-" Max thought for a minute.

"Hey Jesse, did you hear that Cole guy is a cyborg?"

"Mhm." Jesse replied, not really listening. Max picked a pebble up off of the floor and chucked it at Jesse's head. Jesse swatted at his head a little when it hit him, otherwise still kind of hypnotized by the massive screens.

LiberiVentorum Pages

Katherine Hawthorne (TW:GORE):

Max was sitting behind a bush in Jesse's back yard, swaying a little as the effects of the 'shrooms he took became noticable. He grinned at the floor as the grass started to get all wobbily looking. Soon, he heard the faint sound of a door shutting, and then a few seconds later Kai's janky car pulling out of the driveway. Max anxiously licked his dry lips, and started to sweat a little. It was time.

The boy reached into his bag, grabbing his mask, and putting it over his face. He then took out an 8 inch hunting knife. Max shuffled over to the back porch quietly, his mind stirring with some primal, sadistic urge. He had noticed the door had been left unlocked earlier, and the sound of a vacuum cleaner coming from inside told him he wouldn't have to be too

cautious.

He slid through the doorway, then stuck lower to the ground to try to avoid making too many large vibrations. Max was not sure if this was working or not due to the fact his hearing and judgement were very mildly impaired by all that was going on. His camera was on and recording, so he peeked around the corner. Max set his camera on a table to the side, angled to catch the soon-to-be crime scene. Owl's orders.

As soon as he stepped into the living room, he found that Katherine was turned with her back to him, and she had earbuds in. She couldn't have heard anything at all. Max stood there, watching her from just a yard away. As she turned, she had no time to process as he lunged at her with his knife held firmly against his palm. Max had driven the blade into her stomach, getting goosebumps as he felt metal piercing flesh.

He licked his lips as he watched her fall off of the end of the knife and collapse on the floor. Max leapt upon her, methodically sinking the knife into her chest and sides. Her screams warbled in his ears. The blood looked so wiggly... After just 15 minutes, Max had managed to spread her guts all about outside of her body. He was exhausted.

The boy panted like a dog, sweat dripping down his chin as he slid his mask to the back of his head. He could finally sit back and admire his twisted work of art. His eyes dragged lathargically up to the dead woman's face. Unfortunately her tongue was sticking out, which to Max at least made her look kinda goofy.

He couldn't have done that without the 'shrooms. Max had cared about Jesse's mom too much. She definitively was safer to him than his own..

-

Jesse was internally freaking out, bouncing his knee like crazy in the back seat of Kai's car. This was the perfect opportunity.. Why wouldn't Max have taken it? "Can you PLEASE drive a little faster?"

"Hold on." Kai said, only speeding up a little bit more. They were nearly there already.

Charlie, who was sitting in the passenger seat, tried to comfort him. "Hey, I'm sure it will be ok. Have you tried calling her?"

Jesse figured it wouldn't hurt to try. "She's not answering.." He stared as the phone kept ringing and ringing.

-

Max eventually noticed Kate's phone ringing on the floor to the side. He recognized Jesse's number, and hearing the faint sound of a car rolling up, he got up and looked for a good place to hide.

-

"Jesse wait-!"

Charlie tried to reason with Jesse as he sped out of the car and was about to run into the house.

"Guys just call the cops please.. Tell them someone was killed, and I'm also inside the house-" Jesse yapped, ignoring all common sense and rushing through the door.

-

Max had crammed himself into a closet by the front door just as Jesse ran in. He had to restrain himself from giggling as he saw Jesse's tweaked expression through the just barely cracked door. Geez... Jesse was dumb.

-

As Jesse stumbled upon the crime scene, it was evident that this was the most horrible thing he had ever seen. So horrible, he couldn't even believe it was real.

"Oh- Oh my god-" He croaked. Jesse started breaking down in tears. All logical reasoning had completely left his mind. He crouched down next to the corpse, looking at how dim and lifeless her eyes were. "Hey- Mom you're going to be okay... Aren't you..?"

As the reality set in, he started yelling and screeching in despair. Sirens could soon be heard in the background.

-

Max was finally able to sneak away, darting into the woods. His footsteps were heavy. He sure hoped Knowingness would pick him up some time soon.
